Naledi Game Lodge

Naledi Game Lodge - Kruger

Without a doubt, Naledi offers you the most personal, intimate experience anywhere in the region. Just four magnificently appointed chalets sleeping only eight people, right in the heart of Big Five country within the borders of the greater Kruger National Park.

At Naledi we only ever have a maximum of eight guests on our game viewer, only eight relaxing on our beautiful swimming pool deck overlooking the river bed and our private waterhole where one can enjoy the daily parade of animals and birds coming to drink and feed, in total peace and tranquility.

Our lodge is our passion, showing people our private piece of wild Africa our greatest pleasure, and that means introducing you to the bush and all its creatures, from lions and elephants, to antelope and birds are something we always look forward to. At Naledi you’ll find air-conditioning throughout, delicious meals, elegant surroundings, a fabulously stocked bar, fun, relaxation and excitement in equal portions, but best of all, you’ll arrive as strangers, and leave as friends.

If its peace and quiet, home comforts, attention to detail and amazing personal service you want, then you’re in the right place. Here you can unwind by the pool at the end of day taking in a Highveld sunset, or relax in your own courtyard with a glass of chilled wine enjoying the heady evening garden scents.

On warm summer nights, security grills allow you to sleep with French doors opening to your private patio: guests continually comment on the amazing night quiet of this urban location.

Fully equipped kitchenettes and living areas in your unit give you the independence of self-catering for lunches and evening meals should you wish. You can even pick a lemon off the tree or some fresh herbs from the pots outside your room to add to your salad.

We really do have the home comforts and personal touch. And with Liz and 2 staff living on site there is somebody on call 24/7.

The Garden House

The Garden House - Franschoek

The Garden House is special. Built around 1881 with views over the Valley it is set in a beautiful garden with a pool big enough to swim in. Although it's less than a 15 minute safe and easy walk to Franschhoek's shops and many of its best restaurants, The Garden House - separated from the main house by a shaded courtyard - is very quiet and private.

Guests can enjoy the lovely valley views from the verandah of the main house while enjoying a breakfast of home-made muesli, yogurt and berries in season and seasonal fresh fruit, orange juice, delicious smoked Franschhoek salmon trout, Franschhoek cheeses, toast, warm croissants and lashings of tea and strong, fresh coffee.

From vineyards for wine tasting, shops for retail therapy, galleries, museums, wonderful scenic drives, art house film festivals and hikes (for the more active guests), Franschhoek has much to offer. And if that’s all too much you can just chill out by our pool and then have a sundowner on the verandah with us before enjoying the finest value fine dining anywhere!
