Parker Cottage Room Rates



These are our two most luxurious rooms, both with freestanding baths and separate showers. They both have working fireplaces and large armchairs too. There are two of them, Room 6 and Room 8.

These rooms either have baths with showers over (Room 7 and Room 3) or shower rooms and air conditioning (Room 4 and Room 5).

These are our most economical rooms with small shower rooms. There are two of them, Room 1 and Room 2.

This suite has two separate bedrooms, both being light and airy with either a king or twin single beds. The rooms open through French windows onto a private courtyard with garden furniture where you can catch the sun most of the day. (These rates apply to three adults or two adults and up to two children sharing.)

RACK RATES AND STO RATES VALID UNTIL 2011:

Please note that our rates are per room per night, including a sumptuous breakfast and local taxes.

Children over 9 are welcome and pay full adult rate if occupying a room (unless staying in our Family Suite.)

STO rates (for new agents) are the rack rate less 20% commission after the first five room nights booked, before which we offer 10%. All rates are per room per night. We do not offer single rates.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

LATE CHECK OUTS Whilst we’re very happy to go to midday (1200) for a late check out, if you need your room past that time, we will have to ask you for a flat rate of R500 for the room until 20h00. If need to stay past 20h00, which is when our check-in closes, we’ll charge you the full rate for the room. We’re unable to sell a room we can’t clean and change and our housekeepers must leave by 14h00 every day and hope you understand.

LATE CHECK-INS
Please note that for the security of all our guests, we can only accept check-ins after 20h00 if you make use of our courier service. The courier charges R300 for a transfer.

FESTIVE SEASON
Please note that we have a minimum 5 night stay over the period 20th December - 5th January every year.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
As we are a small establishment, it is sometimes not possible to resell a room at short notice. For this reason, we charge 25% of the total accommodation cost for cancellation within 30 days of arrival and 50% of the total accommodation cost for cancellation within 14 days of arrival. A further 50% for cancellation less than 7 nights prior to arrival is charged or in the event of a no-show.

A PRO-RATA charge or refund will be made for any night which we are able to reallocate to a new guest. All cancellations must be done in writing and are not confirmed without a reply from us that confirms the cancellation. We do recommend that you purchase travel insurance which will protect you from unnecessary costs resulting from cancellations.

During the World Cup when some bookings occur over a year in advance, to resell a room at short notice. For this reason, we charge a 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost which is required for confirmation. This deposit is retained and is non-refundable for cancellation within 60 days of arrival (but please see below). A further 50% for cancellation less than 30 nights prior to arrival is charged or in the event of a no-show. Please bear in mind that we will offer a PRO-RATA charge or refund will be made for any night which we are able to reallocate to a new guest.
