Cape Town’s hop-on-hop-off bus is a great way to explore the city and surrounds. The red tour takes roughly 2 hours to complete, has 12 stops, with some of the highlights being the V&A Waterfront, Long street, Table Mountain and Camps Bay. A good option if you are pressed for time and want an overview of the city.
The blue route takes more or less a whole day, starts off in town and takes you out of the city to see some of the winelands in the south, looping back into town. Key highlights along the blue route are V&A Waterfront, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Hout Bay and Camp’s Bay. A good option if you have more time to spend and want to see more than the city, not worth it if you are already doing the Peninsula or Winelands tour.
