Self Drive Tour Of The Cape Winelands
We’ve designed this tour with a few things in mind ... not trying to do too much in one day, taking in as much of
the majestic landscapes of the wine country as possible, having some wine (but not too much!), exploring some
the architectural and social heritage of the wine country, and, avoiding the crowds!
You should be able to complete this tour in a day (although it’s a long and busy one) but it’s impossible to
everything on this itinerary in the times suggested, so start by crossing off at least one or two of the
stops!
This delightful tour winds its way through the heart of the Cape Winelands, where Cape Dutch
architecture, rolling vineyards, fine wines and beautiful mountain ranges are the order of the day. You're taken
through the history of the Winelands, visit several wine farms and of cours get to eat at some of the Cape's
most fantastic restaurants.
